Driver files suit over permanent injury claims from Pinellas Park crash

Car accident 11

CLEARWATER – A Largo man alleges he was injured in an auto accident with a St. Petersburg man in Pinellas Park.

Anthony John Cella filed a complaint on April 25 in the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Pinellas County against Rodney Allen Pate and Lloyd Monroe Pate III alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 7, on state Route 694 Rodney Pate carelessly operated an automobile owned by defendant Lloyd Pate and collided with plaintiff's vehicle. Cella alleges he sustained serious and permanent injuries that resulted in great physical pain and suffering, inconvenience and medical expenses.

The plaintiff holds Rodney Allen Pate and Lloyd Monroe Pate III responsible because defendant Rodney Pate allegedly failed to maintain proper control of the automobile.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $15,000, plus costs and such other just and proper relief. He is represented by Julia N. McGrath and Matthew A. Dolman of Dolman Law Group in Clearwater.
