CLEARWATER – A Hillsborough County resident alleges she was injured in an accident in St. Petersburg.
Ana Acebal filed a complaint on March 28 in the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Pinellas County against John Walker, Joyce Walker and State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 5, 2016, she was traveling on Interstate 275 in St. Petersburg when John Walker, who was operating a vehicle owned by Joyce Walker, collided with her vehicle. She alleges she was injured in the incident. She also alleges that her damages exceeded the amount of the Walkers' insurance policy and is seeking underinsured/uninsured motorist coverage through State Farm.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for damages, costs, interest and other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Michael Keenan of Mickey Keenan PA in Tampa.
