Homeowner alleges MI Homes of Orlando improperly installed stucco

ORLANDO – A homeowner alleges the stucco on the resident was improperly installed by an Orange County contractor.

Tahir A. Malik filed a complaint on April 4 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against MI Homes of Orlando LLC alleging violation of building codes.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendant built the plaintiff's Orlando home and that the defendant violated the Florida Building Code and the applicable American Society for Testing and Materials standards by inadequately and improperly installing the stucco system the home. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for damages, together with interest, costs, and further relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Matthew L. Wilson of Burnett Wilson Reeder in Tampa.
