ORLANDO – An Orange County woman alleges she was injured in a collision with a government employee.

Kerry Mesilas filed a complaint on April 4 in the Orange County Circuit Court against Orange County Board of County Commissioners alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 28, 2016, she was a passenger in a vehicle stopped on Silkwood Circle when an employee of the defendant collided with the plaintiff's vehicle, causing her to suffer injuries.

The plaintiff holds Orange County Board of County Commissioners responsible because the defendant's employee allegedly negligently operated the defendant's vehicle.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for damages against defendant, and other such relief deemed proper by the court. She is represented by Gregory S. Berry of Morgan & Morgan PA in Orlando.
