Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Inc. driver accused of negligence in collision

Car accident 33

CLEARWATER – An Oldsmar couple alleges they were injured by the negligent actions of a health care company's employee on Racetrack Road.

Joseph and Susan Gianelli filed a complaint on March 27 in the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Pinellas County against Mark Collins and Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Inc. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on April 28, 2016, Joseph Gianelli sustained bodily injuries as a result of the negligent operation of a Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics vehicle driven by Collins, which collided with the vehicle plaintiff was driving. Additionally, Susan Gianelli alleges she has been deprived of the society, companionship and consortium of her husband. The plaintiffs hold Collins and Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Inc. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to safely operate a vehicle so as not to cause damage, and failed to keep a proper lookout for other vehicles.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for damages of more than $15,000 against the defendants. They are represented by Thomas R. O'Malley of O'Malley & Wolfe PA in Clearwater.
