MIAMI – A former employee of a West Park adult nightclub alleges she was not paid during her employment.

Tammy Dovo filed a complaint on April 6 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against B & B Entertainment LLC, doing business as The Playhouse Gentlemen's Club and The Playhouse, and Andrew Behn citing the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Florida Minimum Wage Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was employed as a "house mom" by the defendants from May to December 2016. She alleges she was misclassified as an independent contractor and did not receive any wages. The plaintiff holds B & B Entertainment LLC and Behn responsible because the defendants allegedly refused to pay minimum and overtime wages to the plaintiff.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks unpaid minimum and overtime wages, liquidated damages in an equal amount, attorney's fees, costs, interest, and award all other and further relief the court deems just and proper. She is represented by Samara Robbins Bober and Peter Bober of Bober & Bober PA in Hollywood.
