FORT LAUDERDALE – A South Florida window treatment sales and service company is alleged to have failed to pay overtime.
Temple Fawn Inman filed a complaint on April 3 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Lori Jill Designs LLC, Jeffrey Finkel and Lori Jill Finkel alleging that they violated the Fair Labor Standards Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was employed as a show room associate by the defendants. The plaintiff holds Lori Jill Designs LLC, Jeffrey Finkel and Lori Jill Finkel responsible because the defendants allegedly willfully refused to pay her full and proper overtime compensation at a rate of time-and-a-half his regular hourly rate for all overtime hours worked.
The plaintiff seeks unpaid overtime wages, costs, reasonable attorneys’ fees and such other remedy as this Court deems just and appropriate. She is represented by Elliot Kozolchyk, of Koz Law in Fort Lauderdale.
