MIAMI – A medical assistant alleges she was not paid for overtime work by a health care facility.

Olga Patricia Nunez filed a complaint on April 2 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Global OB/GYN Centers PA, Robert Klein and Myriam Klein citing the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was required to work through her lunch breaks. The plaintiff holds Global OB/GYN Centers PA, Robert Klein and Myriam Klein responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to provide proper meal periods or compensate plaintiff for lack of, refused to pay plaintiff her legally entitled wages, and failed to pay plaintiff her full and proper overtime wages.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendants, plus costs, attorneys’ fees, and such other remedy as the court deems appropriate. She is represented by Elliot Kozolchyk of Koz Law PA in Fort Lauderdale.
