Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen guest alleges injuries after fall

ORLANDO – A patron alleges she was injured when she slipped on water at a Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen restaurant.

Consuelo Rojas filed a complaint on March 13 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Interinvest Florida LLC, Interinvest Co. LLC and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Inc. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 18, 2016, she was a business invitee at defendants' Orlando property. While exiting the restroom, she alleges she slipped and fell on water that was on the floor. She claims suffered bodily injury resulting in pain and suffering, disability, medical expenses and loss of earnings. 

The plaintiff holds Interinvest Florida LLC, Interinvest Co. LLC and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to warn plaintiff of any dangerous conditions which it knew of or should have known existed.

The plaintiff seeks damages of more than $15,000, together with costs of this action. She is represented by Darylaine Hernandez of Law Office of Darylaine Hernandez LLC in Oviedo.
