Old Republic National Insurance Co. claims it is owed more than $26,000

Late 03

ORLANDO – A company alleges it is owed several thousand dollars for reports it prepared.

Old Republic National Insurance Co. filed a complaint on March 13 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Keith R. Ingersoll and Aaron C. Miller, also known as Chris Miller, individually and as partners of the Ingersoll Group alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 15, 2016, the parties entered into a verbal agreement for plaintiff to provide ownership and incumbrance reports to defendants for a fee of $125 per report. The plaintiff claims it completed 249 reports but the defendants only paid $4,500 for the total amount owed. As of Sept. 1, 2016, the balance of $26,750 plus interest allegedly remains unpaid.

The plaintiff holds Ingersoll and Miller, individually and as partners of the Ingersoll Group, responsible because the defendants allegedly failed and refused to make payment for the said amount.

The plaintiff seeks all damages, plus court costs and such other relief to which plaintiff is entitled. It is represented by Michael S. Drews and Anna Bichiashvili of The Drews Law Firm in Jacksonville.
