ORLANDO – A community association alleges an Orange County corporation failed to reasonably and adequately plan, develop, design and/or construct a community.

Spring Isle Community Association Inc. filed a complaint on March 2 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Pulte Home Corp., now known as Pulte Home Co. LLC, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the defendant designed, developed and constructed the Spring Isle Community and its common areas. The plaintiff alleges that as a result of defendant's negligence, the association and its members have suffered and continue to suffer damages for loss of use, structural defects, waterproofing defects, defects in the framing system and roofing system of their units.

The plaintiff holds Pulte Home Corp. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to restore, repair and replace damages to the townhome buildings.

The plaintiff seeks damages for the cost of repairing the construction deficiencies, incidental and consequential damages, costs of this suit, plus interest and any other relief the court deems just and proper. It is represented by Patrick C. Howell and Scott P. Kiernan of Becker & Poliakoff PA in Orlando.
