PENSACOLA – A carpenter's helper for a Pensacola company alleges the company refused to pay the applicable minimum or overtime wages.

Robin Posadas filed a complaint on March 30 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, Pensacola Division against First Class Construction Services Inc. and Abraham Quintanar alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was employed by the defendants from September 2016 through October 2016. The plaintiff holds First Class Construction Services Inc. and Quintanar responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay plaintiff the applicable minimum wage or overtime compensation, and failed to properly deduct the appropriate payroll and government taxes from plaintiff’s paycheck.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants, attorney's fees, costs of suit and further relief as the court deems just. The plaintiff is represented by Jeremiah J. Talbott and Bradley S. Larsen of Law Office of Jeremiah J. Talbott PA in Pensacola.
