TAMPA – A Hillsborough County resident alleges he was not compensated for the overtime hours he worked.

Alfredo Lazo filed a complaint on March 27 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida against South East Employee Leasing Services Inc. alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he was employed by the defendant as a driver and from March to September 2015, worked more than 40 hours per workweek. The plaintiff holds South East Employee Leasing Services Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay plaintiff overtime compensation.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant, unpaid overtime compensation, interest, costs, attorney's fees, and further relief as the court deems necessary. He is represented by Steven E. Hovsepian of Barbas, Nunez, Sanders, Butler & Hovsepian in Tampa.
