Pane & Vino Restaurant alleged to have not paid minimum wages

Law money 05

MIAMI – A Miami-Dade County man claims he was not paid minimum or overtime wages while employed at the Pane & Vino Restaurant.

Ignatios Morgan filed a complaint on behalf of himself and all others similarly situated on March 24 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Sfilatino LLC and Angelo Quaglini citing the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that he was employed by the defendants from April 2014 to April 2016 as a server. The plaintiffs hold Sfilatino LLC and Quaglini responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay plaintiffs all compensable hours, failed to keep accurate time and pay records for plaintiff, and failed to allow tipped employees to retain all the tips they received.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against defendants, attorneys' fees, costs and further relief as the court may deem just. He is represented by Robert W. Brock II of Law Office of Lowell J. Kuvin in Miami.
