ORLANDO – An Orlando doctor alleges her former Daytona Beach employer failed to pay her for all hours that she worked.
Katherine L. Brown MD filed a complaint on March 22 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Orlando Division against Suncoast Skin Solutions Inc. and Christopher D. Ewanowski MD citing the Fair Labor Standards Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff was employed by the defendants from August 2014 to October 2015. The plaintiff holds Suncoast Skin Solutions Inc. and Ewanowski responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay plaintiff her regular rate of pay and failed to reimburse her for mileage.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant, compensatory and liquidated damages, interest, attorney's fees, costs, and further relief the court deems just. She is represented by Jason L. Harr of The Harr Law Firm in Daytona Beach.
