Woodgrain Millwork Inc. alleged to have not paid overtime wages

Law money 10

MIAMI – A Miami-Dade County man alleges his current employer has not paid overtime wages.

George Cuik filed a complaint on behalf of himself and all others similarly situated on March 17 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Woodgrain Millwork Inc. alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he has been employed by the defendant as a nonexempt field service representative since 1998. The plaintiffs hold Woodgrain Millwork Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay an overtime rate at time-and-one-half.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks lost and withheld compensation, liquidated damages, attorney’s fees, costs, interest, expenses, and further relief that the court may deem just. He is represented by Monica Espino of Espino Law in Miami.
