PENSACOLA – An Alabama man alleges his claim for disability benefits was wrongfully denied.
C. Bell filed a complaint on March 10 in the U.S. District Court for
the Northern District of Florida against United of Omaha Life Insurance
Co. citing the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff
alleges that in 2016, he became disabled and applied for disability
benefits, but his claim was denied. The plaintiff holds United of Omaha
Life Insurance Co. responsible because the plaintiff alleges he is
disabled as according to the terms of the plan.
requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for
all plan benefits owed, interest, attorney’s fees, costs of this action,
