Former Texas Roadhouse of Fort Myers FL cook alleges he is owed unpaid wages

FORT MYERS – A Lee County restaurant is accused of failing to compensate employees for all hours worked.

Ganel Poudy filed a complaint on behalf of all others similarly situated on March 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Fort Myers Division against Texas Roadhouse of Fort Myers FL LLC alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for the defendant as a prep cook from July 2014 to January 2017. The plaintiff holds Texas Roadhouse of Fort Myers FL LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay minimum wages to the plaintiff and failed to maintain proper time records.

The plaintiff seeks award minimum wages to the plaintiff, liquidated damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Bill B. Burke of Berke Law Firm PA in Cape Coral.
