MIAMI – A woman claims a cruise line failed to warn her before another passenger fell on her.
Dora Do filed a complaint on March 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Royal Caribbean Cruises LTD alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 2, 2016, she suffered physical injuries when another passenger fell onto her. The suit states the passenger had climbed up on the railing of a hot tub, slipped and fell on the plaintiff. The plaintiff holds Royal Caribbean Cruises LTD responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to provide proper assistance and supervision to its passengers using the hot tub and failed to warn the plaintiff.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages, interest and all legal fees. She is represented by Paul M. Hoffman of Hoffman Law Firm in Fort Lauderdale.
