Sunscreen Mist Holdings alleges Snappyscreen's device infringes patent

ORLANDO – A Michigan company alleges a New York corporation is using its patented technology for a sunscreen application machine.

Sunscreen Mist Holdings LLC filed a complaint on March 2 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida against Snappyscreen Inc. alleging patent infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that operates automatic, spray-on sunscreen application vending machines and is the owner of the '897 patent. The plaintiff holds Snappyscreen Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly manufactures similar machines it alleges infringes its patent.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks award damages, interest, enhanced damages, all legal fees, enjoin the defendant and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Jan Jeffrey Rubinstein of The Rubenstein Law Firm in Pompano Beach.
