Couple alleges Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Co. did not pay coverage loss in full

Insurance 09

SANFORD – A Winter Springs couple claims their insurer did not properly reimburse them for damage caused by a sinkhole.

Robert and Marilyn Pagliaro filed a complaint on Jan. 5 in the Seminole Circuit Court against Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Co. alleging the firm refused to make full payment as covered under the agreed policy.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Feb. 21, 2014, the couple's property sustained damages as a result of a sinkhole. To date, plaintiffs allege they have not received the full amount of their covered loss under the policy. The plaintiffs hold Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Co. responsible because the defendant allegedly refused to properly reimburse the plaintiffs and pay all amounts due and owing under the agreed insurance policy.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek for damages, interest, costs, pre-judgement/post-judgement interests, attorney's fees and any other relief that the court may deem appropriate. They are represented by Daniel Gutierrez of Daniel Gutierrez PA in Orlando.
