FORT LAUDERDALE – A man alleges his former employer wrongfully withheld paychecks.

Yves Jean filed a complaint on Jan. 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Summit Nursing Services Inc. and Melva Barrett citing the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he performed his duties for the defendants without being paid minimum wages. The plaintiff holds Summit Nursing Services Inc. and Barrett responsible because the defendants allegedly withheld plaintiff's unpaid wages.
