Amanda Jefferies sues Takeisha S. Frazier for car accident damages

In the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit, Palm Beach County, Florida, Amanda Jefferies and Antwan Jefferies, individually and as parents and natural guardians of four minors, have filed a lawsuit against Takeisha S. Frazier and Andrew L. Berry. The case number is 502024CA003224XXXAMB Div: AK and was filed on April 5, 2024.
The plaintiffs allege that on January 28, 2023, defendant Andrew L. Berry owned a motor vehicle which was being operated by defendant Takeisha S. Frazier at the intersection of 15th Street and N Tamarind Avenue in West Palm Beach. This vehicle collided with a motor vehicle owned and operated by plaintiff Antwan Jefferies, in which Amanda Jefferies and their minor children were passengers.
As a result of this collision, all plaintiffs suffered various injuries including physical impairment, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of capacity for enjoyment of life, impairment of working ability and incurred medical expenses for care and treatment. The damages sought are in excess of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000), exclusive of attorneys' fees interest and costs.
The plaintiffs are seeking judgment for damages against defendants Takeisha S. Frazier and Andrew L. Berry for each count mentioned in the complaint document. They further demand trial by jury.
