Herberty Bolsoni has filed a lawsuit against Buildify General Contractors, LLC and Precision Trim and Carpentry, LLC in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida in Pinellas County. The case, identified as 24-001456-CI, was filed on April 1, 2024.
Bolsoni alleges that he was injured while working on a construction project at a residential property in Belleair, Florida. The project involved the installation of an exterior deck and was overseen by Buildify and subcontracted to Precision Trim and Carpentry. The complaint details that Bolsoni was an employee of Precision Trim and Carpentry and was carrying out manual labor under their supervision.
On October 24, 2023, Bolsoni claims he suffered injuries due to unsafe conditions at the construction site. Specifically, he fell from scaffolding erected more than 10 feet above ground level. This incident occurred while Bolsoni was attempting to access the second floor exterior of the property for the installation process.
The plaintiff is seeking monetary damages in excess of $50,000, exclusive of interest, costs, and attorney’s fees. The court has jurisdiction over this case as per Fla. Stat. § 26.012(2)(a), since the damages sought exceed the jurisdictional limits of the County Court.
