Alron Construction LLC claims State Farm should reimburse it for home repairs

Insurance 05

ORLANDO – A construction company alleges that it has not been reimbursed for repairs it made to an Orlando home by the property owner's insurer.

Alron Construction LLC, as assignee of John Hansen, filed a complaint on June 29 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against State Farm Florida Insurance Co. alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Hansen sustained structural damage to his dwelling and incurred additional mitigation expenses as a result of wind/hail/water damages. The plaintiff sought reimbursement for expenses for covered loss, but was not fully compensated by the defendant.

The plaintiff holds State Farm Florida Insurance Co. responsible because the defendant allegedly refused payment for all of plaintiff's covered losses.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant for all covered losses, plus interest on any overdue payments, attorney's fees and costs. It is represented by Lee Jacobson of Hale, Hale & Jacobson PA in Orlando.
