MIAMI – A New York corporation seeks judgment from the court over the ownership of a domain name.

Germanium Inc. filed a complaint on May 30 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against China Resources Snow Brewery (Liaoning) Co. Limited seeking declaratory judgment.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages as a result of being sued for the domain name snowbeer.com by the defendant and was ordered to transfer the domain name. The plaintiff holds China Resources Snow Brewery (Liaoning) Co. Limited responsible because the defendant allegedly made baseless and wrongful accusations of infringement against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff seeks declaration that it is entitled to registration, ownership and use of the domain name; injunctive relief; award damages; all legal fees; and any other relief as this court deems just. It is represented by Jorge Espinosa and Francesca Russo of Espinosa Trueba PL in Miami.
