FORT LAUDERDALE — A Coconut Creek man is suing the U.S. Postal Service, claiming he was injured when a Postal Service truck backed into his parked car in Delray Beach and pinned him between the vehicles.
Zaharis "Zackery" Skoundridakis is suing the Postal Service over alleged breach of duty and negligence that resulted in injuries.
Skoundridakis sued on Feb. 28, in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida Fort Lauderdale Division, claiming that the Postal Service failed to train its employee to properly operate the truck to avoid accidents.
The plaintiff alleges that he suffered bodily injury due to the collision of the truck with his parked car, and he holds the Postal Service responsible because the defendant's driver, Adam J. Mirsky, allegedly operated the truck carelessly and drove it in reverse into his car, smashing the front of the vehicle and pinning him between the vehicle and the truck.
The plaintiff seeks compensation for damages. He is represented by Robert J. Fenstersheib of Robert J. Fenstersheib and Associates, P.A. in Hallandale Beach and Eduardo E. Dieppa III and Chris Ochoa of Ochoa and Dieppa, LLC in Hialeah.
