A New York resident has filed a lawsuit against a Florida-based restaurant, alleging negligence after suffering severe injuries from a slip and fall incident. Jennifer Feldman initiated the legal action on April 9, 2025, in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida, targeting Delray Taco Ltd., doing business as Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar.

According to the complaint, on March 30, 2024, Feldman was visiting Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar located at 224 Clematis Street in West Palm Beach when she slipped on pooled water in the women's bathroom. The incident allegedly resulted in serious injuries for Feldman. The plaintiff asserts that the restaurant's management was negligent in maintaining safe premises for its patrons. Feldman's legal team argues that Rocco’s Tacos had either actual or constructive notice of the hazardous condition and failed to take appropriate measures to address it.

The complaint details several allegations against Rocco's Tacos, including failing to maintain a safe environment by allowing dirty water to accumulate on the floor and not providing adequate warnings about this hazard. Furthermore, it accuses the restaurant of having an improper flooring surface that becomes dangerously slippery when wet and failing to adhere to its safety policies. As a result of these alleged failures, Feldman claims she suffered permanent bodily injuries leading to pain and suffering, mental anguish, medical expenses both past and future, lost wages, and diminished earning capacity.

Feldman is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 exclusive of interest and costs. She demands a jury trial for all issues eligible for such proceedings under law. Her representation comes from Benjamin Cohen of Morgan & Morgan P.A., who has submitted this case on her behalf.

The case is assigned Case Number: 502025CA003399XXXAMB.
