ORLANDO — Two Orlando homeowners are suing an insurance company, alleging breach of contract.

William Burrell and Marlene Burrell filed a complaint May 31 in Orange County Circuit Court against Security First Insurance Company, alleging failure to provide coverage for the plaintiffs' losses.

According to the complaint, in December 2017, the Burrells' dwelling at 1633 N. Hudson St., Orlando, sustained a covered loss due to water damage while the Security First insurance policy was in full force and effect.

Subsequently, the plaintiffs say, they made a claim for the loss under the policy. The plaintiffs allege Security First Insurance, despite the Burrells compliance with all conditions precedent to entitle them to recover under the policy, has failed to pay for all losses.

The Burrells seek trial by jury, damages of more than $15,000, judgment for all losses with interest, attorney fees and costs. They are represented by attorney Jordon V. Fosky of The Nation Law Firm LLP in Longwood.
