Lender alleges borrower, guarantor owe $55,000 unpaid debt

ORLANDO — An Orange County man is suing a borrower and guarantor, alleging refusal to apply payments and an unpaid debt of $55,000.

Bilal Rashid filed a complaint May 17 in Orange County Circuit Court against Artopia USA, Inc. and Muhammed Saryoul, alleging they breached the settlement agreement by failing to make timely periodic monthly payments.

According to the complaint, on Jan. 28, 2016, Rashid executed a settlement agreement with the defendants for their debt of $55,000, which was to be paid in a monthly periodic payments until the debt is paid in full. Despite the agreement, the suit says, the defendants have failed to make each periodic monthly payment in a timely fashion, resulting in damages and monetary losses to Rashid. 

Rashid seeks trial by jury, damages equal to the remaining indebtedness or damages exceeding $15,000, exclusive of interest, court costs, attorney fees and all other relief the court deems just and proper. He is represented by attorney Tark Richard Aquadi of Altamonte Springs.
