Motorist alleges Yellow Cab driver caused crash

FORT LAUDERDALE — A Miami-Dade County man is suing Yellow Cab, alleging negligence caused a motor vehicle crash that injured the plaintiff.

Michael Snook filed a complaint April 27 in Broward Circuit Court against Yellow Cab Company of Florida, Aleko Co. Letti Alonso, Julian Co. Llazo Perez, and Stuart Norman Rogers, alleging the defendants failed to exercise standard care and skill in the operation of a vehicle.

According to the complaint,  on July 12, 2014, ,Snook was driving along North Bayshore Drive and NE 17th Street in Miami when he was negligently run into by a Yellow Cab vehicle driven by Rogers. The suit says Snook sustained bodily injury and resulting pain and suffering, impairment, disability, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment of life, mental anguish, loss of earnings and incurred medical expenses.  

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to adequately maintain and operate a motor vehicle so as not to cause harm and breached duty of care by allowing motor vehicle for negligent operation.

Snook seeks trial by jury, damages that exceed $15,000, interest, court costs and all other relief the court deem proper. He is represented by attorneys Ryan M. Scher and Adam G. Scher of Adam Scher Law Group PA in Hollywood, Florida.
