ORLANDO — A customer is suing Tommy Hilfiger, alleging negligence in failing to maintain a safe business environment.

Winsome Delaney filed a complaint April 25 in Orange County Circuit Court against PVH Corp. doing business as Tommy Hilfiger, Orlando Vineland PO LP, doing business as Orlando Premium Outlets, et al., alleging their negligence led to injuries for the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, on June 8, 2014, Delaney visited the Tommy Hilfiger store at 8200 Vineland Ave. in the Orlando shopping center. The suit says she slipped and fell in a puddle of water, resulting in serious injuries, disability, disfigurement and mental anguish, plus the expense of hospitalization, medical and nursing care and treatment.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to provide a safe place of business, breached their duty to care for customers and failed to properly maintain the shopping area against hazardous conditions.

Delaney seeks trial by jury, damages in excess of $15,000 exclusive of costs and attorney fees and all further relief the court deems just and proper. She is represented by attorney Michael Bryan Sanchez of The Pendás Law Firm in Orlando.
