ORLANDO — An Orlando pet owner is suing two neighbors, alleging they allowed a dangerous dog to roam around without supervision.

Daniel Sasser filed a complaint March 14 in Orange County Circuit Court against Rogelio Barrera and Johnathan Camacho, alleging their negligence caused the plaintiff and his dog to be mauled by a German shepherd.

According to the complaint, on July 6, 2017, near the property of 5818 Flori Lane, Orlando, Sasser and his dog were viciously attacked without provocation by Camacho's German shepherd. The suit says the dog was roaming loose without proper identification and supervision at his yard, which was owned by Barrera.

The lawsuit states Sasser sustained pain and suffering, permanent injury, disability, mental anguish and medical expenses.

The plaintiff alleges Barrera and Camacho failed to restrain, control, and supervise the dog and failed to take proper precautions to ensure that dog was not a danger to people in the neighborhood.

Sasser seeks trial by jury, damages of more than $15,000 and all other relief the court deems proper. He is represented by attorney Alicia Bandoli of Morgan & Morgan, PA in Orlando.
