Slip02

ORLANDO — A customer is suing Wal-Mart, alleging negligence led to injuries for the plaintiff.

Aida Ramos Calvo filed a complaint Feb. 1 in Orange County Circuit Court against Wal-Mart Stores Inc., alleging failure to to follow applicable safety guidelines and regulations.

According to the complaint, on Feb. 16, 2016, Calvo was at Wal-Mart's Sam's Club store, 1500 S. Orange Blossom Trail, Apopka. The suit says she slipped and fell due to a substance that was left on the floor.

Calvo says the fall led to bodily injuries pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of capacity to enjoy life, loss of wages, hospitalization and medical expenses.

The plaintiff alleges Wal-Mart Stores failed to warn her of the dangerous condition and failed to maintain the premises in a safe manner.

Calvo seeks trial by jury, general damages and all other just relief. She is represented by attorney Mario A. Ceballos of Eola Law PA in Orlando.
