ORLANDO — An Orange County shareholder is suing Latham Martinez Group and owner Laura Latham, citing alleged breach of contract.

Adelina Martinez filed a complaint on Jan. 16 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida for allege breach of contract under the terms of a partnership agreement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in June 2017 she entered into a partnership agreement with the defendants and agreed that she would receive 50 percent of all profits. Despite numerous attempts, the plaintiff allegedly has not been provided financial documentation concerning the profitability of Latham Martinez Group and has not received the portion of profits allotted for her.

The plaintiff holds Latham Martinez Group and Laura Latham responsible because of the defendants' alleged refusal and failure to perform based upon the terms agreed on in the partnership agreement and failed to pay her portion of the profits as required under the contract.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury; and seeks judgment for monetary and consequential damages in excess of $15,000, including interest on all liquidated damages, attorneys’ fees and costs, taxable costs, interest at the maximum lawful rate, and all other relief to which it is entitled and the court deems just and proper. She is represented by Moses R. Dewitt of Dewitt Law Firm, PA in Orlando.
