Policyholders accuse National General and GMAC Insurance of breach of contract

By Louie Torres | Feb 11, 2018

CLEARWATER — Florida residents are suing National General Insurance Online Inc. and GMAC Insurance Company Online Inc., alleging breach of contract.

Amanda Andrion, Stephanie Andrion, Melanie Andrion and Cassandra Andrion filed a complaint on Jan. 9 in the Pinellas County Circuit Court against the defendants alleging that they failed to agree on a settlement figure for the claims submitted by the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they sustained injuries as the result of being in a vehicular accident, but did not receive the benefits of the insurance coverage that they had purchased.

The plaintiffs hold National General Insurance Online and GMAC Insurance Company Online responsible because they allegedly failed to settle on an agreement with the plaintiff regarding their claim.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury; and seek judgment against the defendant for damages, court costs, interest and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Alan D. Watson of Alan D. Watson Esq. in St. Petersburg.
