ORLANDO — A vehicle rental company is suing a customer, alleging breach of contract.

Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc. filed a complaint Jan. 2 in Orange County Circuit Court against Thomas J. Armour, alleging he owes more than $15,000 for damaging one of the plaintiff's vehicles.

According to the complaint, on Feb. 22, 2016, Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group was forced to pay $15,654.54 for property damage to its vehicle that had been rented by Armour.

The plaintiff alleges Armour failed to return the vehicle in the same condition it was received and failed to pay for damages to the vehicle under the terms and conditions of the rental agreement.

Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group seeks trial by jury, judgment of $15,654.54, plus interest, court costs and attorney fees. It is represented by attorneys Jeff J. Ricke and Catharine D. Hanley of Hiday & Ricke PA in Jacksonville.
