Safepoint Insurance Company accused of breaching contract for allegedly not paying insurance claim

FORT LAUDERDALE — An individual is suing Safepoint Insurance Company for alleged breach of contract.

Dalia Grayeb filed a complaint on Aug. 1 in the Broward County Circuit Court, alleging that the defedant breached its duty of good faith and fair dealing.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that her property sustained a covered loss on or about Oct. 29, 2016 as a result of an accidental discharge of water. Though the plaintiff allegedly furnished timely notice of the loss, the defendant allegedly has refused to provide coverage for the physical damage to the property. 

The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly refusing to pay her insurance claim and for obligating her to retain and pay for the services of a legal counsel to represent and protect her interests.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for declaratory relief, damages, attorney's fees and court costs. She is represented by Vyacheslav Borshchukov of Vyacheslav Borshchukov PA in Fort Lauderdale.
