Florida dentist accused of negligence

Medical malpractice 09

CLEARWATER — A patient is suing Nadia O'Neal, a dentist, for alleged negligence.

Jill Fischer-Peters filed a complaint on Aug. 11 in the Pinellas County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant failed to exercise the standard care and skill required of a medical provider.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she received multiple deficient dental services from the defendant, which allegedly caused her to suffer pain and suffering, disability and medical expenses for additional periodontal and corrective, restorative dentistry treatment.

The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to exercise the adequate level of care, skill and treatment in rendering dental services to the plaintiff, and for allegedly causing the plaintiff to need additional full-mouth restoration and treatment.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for damages exceeding $15,000 plus costs, interest and other relief she may be entitled to. She is represented by David J. Kurkland of Law Office of David J. Kurkland in Largo.
