By Jenie Mallari-Torres | Sep 8, 2017

ORLANDO — An amusement park patron is suing Seaworld Entertainment Inc. for alleged negligence and liability.

Diana Gonzalez filed a complaint on July 21 in the Orange County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant failed to provide a safe environment for its patrons.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was attending a show at the defendant’s amusement park on Jan. 4, 2015 when she slipped and fell on a substance that was on the ground, allegedly causing bodily injury, pain and suffering, disability, scarring, mental anguish, medical expenses and loss of earnings.

The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to maintain and correct the dangerous condition that existed on the premises, and for allegedly failing to warn her of the dangerous condition.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgement for compensatory damages against the defendant. She is represented by Juan J. Cordero of Law Office of Juan J. Cordero in Miami.
