By Jenie Mallari-Torres | Aug 30, 2017

ORLANDO — A company is suing Buddha Bait Company LLC a/k/a Buddha Bait Co. for alleged unpaid debt.

Fisherman III Lures Inc. filed a complaint on July 6 in the Orange County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant obtained profit through unfair or deceptive trade or commerce.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered economic damages as a result of the defendant failing to pay for the goods and services allegedly rendered by the plaintiff.

The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly forcing it to retain the services of a legal counsel to protect its interests, and for allegedly retaining the benefit of goods and services without proper payment.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for $26,533.98 plus pre-judgment interest, taxable costs and any further relief the court deems equitable. The plaintiff is represented by Raymond A. McLeod of McLeod Law Firm in Apopka.
