ORLANDO – A South Carolina woman alleges that she was injured at Aquatica in Orlando when she tripped on a rope.
Jennifer Hodge, as parent and natural guardian of minor Harper Hodge, filed a complaint on July 5 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Seaworld Parks & Entertainment Inc. alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 25, she was lawfully on defendant’s premises when she tripped and fell as her foot got caught on the rope wrapped around one of the pillars at the Banana Beach Cookout, which resulted in severe bodily injury.
The plaintiff holds Seaworld Parks & Entertainment Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to adequately warn plaintiff of the dangerous condition and failed to adequately inspect and correct the unreasonably dangerous condition.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant for damages of more than $15,000 plus interest and costs. She is represented by Logan J. Young of Dan Newlin & Partners in Orlando.
