ORLANDO – An invitee at an Orange County business alleges that an uneven walkway on the property caused him to fall.

Jose Romero filed a complaint on July 3 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against AJC Construction Inc. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 3, 2014, he was injured as a result of a fall caused by an uneven walkway owned and controlled by the defendant. As a result, plaintiff alleges he suffered bodily injury.

The plaintiff holds AJC Construction Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to provide proper training and supervision to its employees and agents for the proper maintenance, inspection, and installation of the walkway and failed to warn plaintiff of the hazardous condition.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant for damages of more than $15,000 exclusive of costs and attorney's fees, and further relief as the court may deem just. He is represented by Joel L. Piedra of The Pendas Law Firm in Orlando.
