ORLANDO — An estate representative is suing Omninet Fountain LP d/b/a Village Springs at Lake Orlando, Omninet Fountain GP LLP d/b/a Village Springs at Lake Orlando and Pioneer Property Management Inc., citing alleged negligence and liability.
Ashley K.R. Dolle, personal representative of the estate of Adam Dwight Williams, filed a complaint on June 26 in the Orange County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendants failed to safely secure their premises.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Williams was lawfully on the defendants' premises on July 19, 2015 when he was shot and killed by an unknown assailant.
The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to employ and deploy guards in sufficient numbers, warn its invitees of foreseeable criminal activity and take proper precautions to make the premises safe.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants for damages with costs and any further relief the court deems proper. She is represented by Tyrone A. King of King & Markman PA in Orlando.
