Golden View Condominium accused of breach of contract

FORT LAUDERDALE — A contractor is suing Golden View Condominium Inc., a property owner, citing alleged breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

Concrete Restoration Team LLC d/b/a Surtreat Concrete Restoration filed a complaint on June 9 in the Broward Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant breached its duty of good faith and fair dealing.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it entered into a contract with the defendant in July 2016 to provide labor, services and materials for the amount of $56,692.80. The plaintiff claims it later suffered damages from the breach of the contract after the defendant allegedly refused to pay any part of of the amount owed. 

The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly refusing to issue payment for the contracted project and receiving benefits at the expense of the plaintiff.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for damages in the amount of $56,692.80 plus interest, attorney's fees and costs. They are represented by Ira L. Libanoff of Ferencik Libanoff Brandt Bustamante & Goldstein PA in Fort Lauderdale.
