ORLANDO – The landlord of an Orlando shopping center alleges that a tenant owes thousands in unpaid rent.
Avenue Shoppes LLC filed a complaint on June 19 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Ingrid R. Diaz, Affinity Hair Salon Inc., Affinity Hair Academy LLC and Eric Diaz alleging breach of contract and breach of guaranty.
According to the complaint, Diaz (doing business as Affinity Hair Salon) entered into a lease with the plaintiff in 2012. The plaintiff alleges the defendants have had an outstanding balance since 2013 and has failed to pay rent since November 2015.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for damages in the amount of $39,432.01 plus interest, late fees, costs, attorney's fees and further relief as the court may deem just. It is represented by Scott V. Goldstein of Blackmine Group LLC in Orlando.
