Individual claims more than $60,000 is owed for services relating to Parkland property

FORT LAUDERDALE – Two Broward County individuals are alleged to have failed to pay another individual for billing services.

Dongmei Zhang filed a complaint on May 23 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Broward County against Yiwei Qiu and Ping Jiang alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, in January the plaintiff entered into an oral agreement with the defendants for plaintiff to handle the bill paying and coordinating for the remodeling of a Parkland property to be sold for profit, and the defendants agreed to pay $30,000 in return. The suit states the plaintiff expended $72,510.57 for the remodeling but the defendants failed to remit the remaining balance of $33,531.58 and the service fee of $30,000. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants and other relief the court deems just. The plaintiff is represented by Lawrence Weisberg of Weisberg & Associates PA in Boca Raton.
