Deerfield Beach restaurant goers allege they were injured when car struck property

FORT LAUDERDALE – A Canadian couple allege they were injured when a car struck the restaurant where they were visiting.

Yvon Ratelle and Jocelyn Champagne filed a complaint on May 17 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Broward County against Cathleen M. Kosiorek and Ronald F. Kosiorek citing negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on April 1, 2015, they were sitting inside of a Deerfield Beach restaurant when Cathleen M. Kosiorek crashed her vehicle, owned by Ronald F. Kosiorek, into the restaurant, injuring the plaintiffs. They allege they suffered bodily injury and resulting pain and suffering, impairment, disability, loss of enjoyment of life, mental anguish, loss of earnings and incurred medical expenses.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against defendants for damages, together with costs of suit. They are represented by Albert Benzrihem of Albert Benzrihem PA in Hollywood.
