ORLANDO – A man has filed suit against a property owner and the owner of a dog after the dog bit him.

Arnaldo Daniel Rodriguez filed a complaint on May 12 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against the Jose Montes and Reinaldo Montes alleging negligence and citing the Dog Bite Statutue.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on November 4, 2015, he was walking on the sidewalk in front of the property of Reinaldo Montes when he was viciously bit by a dog owned by Arnaldo Montes, which caused him severe injuries, including pain and suffering, disability, mental anguish, loss of earnings and incurred medical expenses.

The plaintiff holds Jose Montes and Reinaldo Montes responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to place the dog on a leash or a chain and failed to secure the property to prevent the dog attack.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant, damages of more than $15,000, costs, interest and other relief that he may be entitled. He is represented by Darylaine Hernandez of Law Office of Darylaine Hernandez LLC in Orlando.
