Man seeks damages after Interstate 4 collision

ORLANDO – An Orlando resident claims a Norwegian man's negligence caused a collision in Orange County.

Joseph Grant filed a complaint on May 12 in the Orange County Circuit Court against Paul Schafroth alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 22, 2015, he was driving on Interstate 4 near its intersection with state Route 408 when the defendant struck a third-party vehicle, which then struck the plaintiff's vehicle. The plaintiff alleges he has suffered bodily injury and resulting pain and suffering, impairment, disability, inconvenience, mental anguish, loss of earnings and incurred medical expenses.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for personal injury and losses, costs, interest and other relief deemed proper by the court. He is represented by Steven J. Tomesko of Dan Newlin & Partners in Orlando.
